Pod Wars 01

Yes indeed, Pod Wars have begun!

Every so often a couple of the Pods will battle it out at Flame. A couple of weeks ago it was Ana's Pod and Tim's Pod competing in the classic see-how-many-marshmellows-your-team-can-spit-in-a-bucket game. The game was more entertaining than expected... Ask Laura to tell you why ;-)

Last Saturday Ana's POD got together for a night in, with special guest legends Keri Squires and Rachel Kate.

(Awesome to see the girls on their knees trevailing in intercessary prayer ;-)

On Saturday a few of the guy PODs got together for a good old kiwi bloke BBQ and bonfire.

Latest study added: Battlefield Mind

Every gamer will be familiar with the 'Battlefield' game franchise. The games focus on famous conflicts where the players fight to take territory and defend it.

In real life there is a battlefield on which possibly the most important conflicts of all are fought... the battlefield of the mind.

Endless Praise rocked Flame!

Last Friday was a phenomenal night at Flame youthchurch! We had special guests 'Endless Praise' (worship band from Australia) perform. Most of them were originally from New Zealand, which proves once again that kiwis rule.

The atmopshere pumped, and despite slight technical difficulties, it was an inspirational, God-glorifying, totally enjoyable, musically excellent concert.

The "Rename Burton and win a hoodie" competition is now closed. Now all we have to do is wade through the 335 comments, weed out the lame ones (probably 300 of them), and decide the winner!
