Jordan gets baptised!

Jordan Allen was water baptised last Sunday at Waipu Presbyterian Church. Congratulations mate! It's awesome to see young people determining to follow Jesus with all their heart!

We are having a water baptism service this Sunday night (June 29th) at Christian Renewal Fellowship, so if you know of anyone who is keen to follow in Jesus footsteps, put their old life behind them and live for God, please see me (Symon) ASAP!

(Note: Do you recognise the guy doing the baptism?)

You guys rock!

A huge THANKYOU to all of you who are involved in serving Renewal Youth Ministries! I'm really thankful to God for you, and the unity between us as a team is building exponentially. Keep praying for each other and be aware that a major strategy that Satan uses against unified teams is to drive wedges between its members, so stay on guard. Another world is possible!

I hoped you all enjoyed seeing Prince Caspian on Tuesday. It seemed as if most of church was there! (Maybe my vision of seeing church services happening in the cinema threaters one day is closer than we think ;-)

I'm off to see it again with Jasher on Tuesday. So if you are keen to see it for a second time (or third for some of you) , the more the merrier.

You guys rock, and it is a privilege to serve such an awesome bunch of history-makers.

See you at Flame!

brian platt rocked flame!

Recently Brian Platt rocked Flame! It was an awesome event which included two local bands, giveaways, entertainment, interviews, cafe and of course Brian, who has one of the best contemporay/rock voices in New Zealand.

Here are a few comments from the young people who attended...

“This has been the highlight of my year so far…” KD

“It was so awesome! Brian was really funny and such a great musician! We really enjoyed it” AH

“Brian really connected with his audience well and had some great advice for youth struggling with issues or who wanted to write songs – and his songs were awesome…” KL

“Great night. Brian awesome. Sounds just as great live. Nice relaxed atmosphere allowed for nice impromptu moments. Good to get to know artist with interview” JB

“Great to have NZ Christian music supported in Whangarei. Was an awesome night, hope for more artists to be able to play in the future. A real encouragement for up and coming musicians to be a part of." NB

“Enjoyed the concert so much! Forgot just how good Brian’s music and sense of humour is. Definitely worth having him again. Thanks!” RG

"Burton rocked!" SD

“Primo night, big ups to the sponsors!" JV

Thanks heaps to the Sponsors: Whangarei Youth Workers Network and The Rockshop!

We'll see you in another four years Brian ;-)
